Holy Trinity Anglican Church exists in order to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Mathew 28:19-20.
A strong “Great Commission Church” is needed in the area surrounding Holy Trinity Anglican Church Inc. Therefore, the intent of this ministry is to infiltrate the community with the HOPE found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Accomplishing this goal will occur by impacting the lives of people in the same manner Jesus impacted the people with whom he lived. Jesus expressed care, compassion, and unconditional love for those He encountered. Holy Trinity Anglican Church intends to follow this example.
Since the surrounding community population is primarily unchurched, the purpose of the Holy Trinity Anglican church is to reach these community members. We will discover and implement methods of worship, evangelism, and training that shall win the lost for Christ and enable Christians to become effective ministers in His Name. Fulfillment of this purpose demands Holy Trinity Anglican Church be firm in our message, but flexible in our methods. We are committed to these efforts and recognize them as God’s will for this Body of Believers. Every Member is to understand and realize the goal of winning the loss. The goal of the ministry rests on this foundation. It is imperative that all members join with God in achieving the ministry’s purpose.
Our Mission
The mission of Holy Trinity Anglican Church (HTAC) is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, to advance the role of the Anglican Church as an active participant in sharing the Gospel, and to create a nourishing Christian community of worship where Christ’s love is experienced and taken beyond its walls.
Our Vision
The vision statement of Holy Trinity Anglican Church is as follows:
- It is the dream of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the hundreds of thousands of the unchurched in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
- It is the dream of welcoming upwards of 400 members into the fellowship of our church, family-loving, learning, laughing, and living in harmony together.
- It is the dream of developing people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, and a Bible school for our members.
- It is the dream of developing children to know and appreciate their roots through children’s Christian education in traditional languages, piano and music skill training, seminars, and children retreats emphasizing the importance of togetherness, love, and dignity.
- It is the dream of equipping every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them.
- It is the dream of a place where the hurting, the depressed, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.
- It is the dream of at least ten acres of land, on which will be built a regional church for the Atlanta Metropolitan Area with beautiful, yet simple, facilities including a worship center seating thousands, a counseling and prayer center, classrooms for Christian education, Bible studies, seminars, banquets, and a recreation area, All of these will be designed to minister to the total person-spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially-and set in a peaceful, inspiring garden landscape.
